What is the cause of burr in stainless steel welded pipe?
The burr phenomenon may occur in the production process of stainless steel welded pipe, it is the current concentrated in the welding seam heating to the molten state, through the extrusion roller lateral pressure welding, by extrusion pressure, the excess metal and oxide pile up on the top of the welding seam to form the outer surface burr;
Due to the combined action of extrusion pressure and gravity, other excess metals and oxides sag along the axis of the steel tube to form internal burrs.
What method can clear the burr of stainless steel welded pipe, we introduce the following methods for you:
1. Cutting method: this method is to use the fixed blade or rotating cutting head inside the tube to cut the burr.
2. Rolling method: this method USES the rolling device inserted into the tube to make the inner burr produce plastic deformation and achieve the effect of reducing the height of the inner burr.
3. Oxidation method: at the beginning of the welding of steel tube, oxygen flow is injected into the inner welding seam by the vent nozzle. The residual heat of welding seam is utilized to accelerate the oxidation of the inner burr and fall off under the airflow.
4. Drawing method: when the steel tube passes through the mold, under the action of the annular blade of the floating plug, the burr inside the steel tube.
